The list DatBird gave is good but it doesn’t translate to what this site does.

It’s kinda it’s own beast I just had to adapt to.

E.g. strong willed is different here then MS (still irks me)

Mainly either we need to force the change towards common terminology or a lexicon translation ToL to FM.

My personal view of FoL is having ToL balanced for a forum environment while also adding our own spin on things for fun value.

Idk i disagree as someone who started on ToL and barely ever played ToS before being told about here. Rules wise its pretty similiar and classes wise they mostly function the same way except the nks really, and lack of pretender. Like I feel like Fol really gets the ToL feel, as much as a forum game can

Fair enough. The ToL feeling is definitely there. There are just so many non-mechanical things different that it is hard to get a foot in here.

The non mechanical things took a long while for me and I still struggle with some. My suggestion is not to focus on those perse but find a person you think does them well and get a PT (card) with them for the next game with moderator permission or view only on a card with transparency you will never replace into a slot.
