I feel like the average IQ of this Forum is decreasing exponentially.
Go to my posts to say they are shitty there, not here.
Also, much of my suggestions suck, but not all. My early ones did suck bad though.
And I’ve been derailed by Norm and Bob. Lovely.
Back on topic:
Not telling Jailor your whole will is incredibly silly. I would not say it is gamethrowing but I think it borders it if he says he will execute you if you do not show a will and then you still do not.
Showing will’s at day-time is different. It depends more on your reason for not posting. Often I have discovered Prince or a Protective and may not want to reveal them, or I know I am a high-value target so may not post a will.
Okay, back on topic.
Posting journals ruins the experience of a role playing game, because no one would do it (nearly no one) if they actually were in this situation. Not only that, but crafting fake journals is tiresome and I don’t play games to feel tired, I do so to relax.
I just recently played a bored game deception game, and it was great because I didn’t need/get to keep a journal (no, it was not ToS the card game xD)
ToL is first and foremost a game of strategy and deception, with a layer of role play on top. If you want to prioritise role play over winning/strategy then ToL is not the right game for you.
“ruins the experience” - Let me bring up the fact about personal opinion.
I never told you not to post journal.
Just don’t try to pressure me into posting journals, I will not comply
Just gonna… post that here… because you’re literally missing the point of my post.
see “It is tiresome to make fake wills, so I will not write them, nor will I write real ones” I shouldn’t feel like I need a break after my game break.
I have never seen anyone get salty over being forced by prince to post journal.
I have seen salty prince’s who executed a blue dragon who would not post journal, though…
I wouldn’t have made this post if I personally hadn’t seen it though. It’s like I originally said…
Welp, this became the flame war!
Woot woot!
Let me announce it in discord!
It seems as though you are trying to get people to post their journals, so I think you would have.
Note: If the prince asks what I did a specific night (or a few, asking one at a time) then I will answer.
If you’d read the post, I detailed a very important fact about ToL.
just because something is not against the rules does not mean you have to do it.
I never made the argument that it is against the rules.
Rope do you want to join some of our forum games?
You missed the point of this post. I’m not saying you have to. And I also stated my reason for the post after making it…
Read.
why do you ask and no.
who is this person? why did’;t you just private message them it?
