5 people remained: Good King, Invoker, CL, Psy and Merc (for Psy). Invoker occupied Merc while CL brainwashed Psy at the same night (I played cult so i know that for sure). Result: Psy wasn’t converted because Merc still guarded him.
Occupation procs before Merc’s guard, so Merc can’t guard Psy and Psy is converted to cult.
Strategy of occupying Merc and converting Psy had to work too but it had not.
The priority order of abilities goes
Visit Prevention > Redirection/Occupy > Healing > Misc Abilities > Investigations/Killing > Conversions
Meaning the guard happens before the occupation. This is intended.
I’m 100% sure that I played Merc and was occupied in night when I guarded and guard failed due to occupation. But I was probably occupied by Butler, not Invoker.
Also, if you mean that guarding of occupied Merc still prevents from visiting her target but does’t make Merc night immune that definately should be fixed. Either Merc guarded or she did not.
