Because it allows you to make a choice and tailor your converted class to your preferred playstyle, not to mention that it makes the Cult unique and not just a weaker recolor of the Unseen like it is now.
The issue with Cult alts is the fact that it’s hard to balance them all properly and not just make “best alts that outshine everything else and will be picked 99% of the time” together with “alts that are there just because we needed to fill the space”.
