I knew a woman who was in such a situation. One of my best friends married her to get her out of that misery.
But that has nothing to do with mafia anymore

Just because you don’t know someone who is affected by it, doesn’t mean there isn’t.

Why do you expect me to know what video mafia is?

this entire conversation has been about video mafia, and you’ve been expressing opinions about video mafia in contrast to IRL mafia

I generally expect that to come with some understanding of what you’re talking about

Nom Nom Nom

You even responded to this…

I assumed it stands for some kind of forum mafia

I can understand making the mistake, but we were talking about cameras and stuff.

So what is video mafia now?

Like imagine playing ww

but you just see each other using video cameras

Hmmm… Cookie will probably begone by the time I wake up.

Voice chat + pc cam?
I have seen a lot of videos where people played irl werewolves and filmed it, so that was what I associated with video
But that wasnt different than irl, so me was confused

Not only that but if you do something socially unacceptable for the community you are playing on you can be replaced in forum mafia

I still believe that socially acceptable behaviour is completely independent from the specific players or community you are playing with
But thats probs just definition

that’s why I say socially acceptable

Heck english, its a bad language for exact words
I mean Social = society/culture here
:joy:

I mean I think there’s a certain extent to which it varies depending on the individual people in question

for example, I’m totally fine with the ‘haha Arete is a nerd’ jokes, but we can imagine a person who is bothered by being called a nerd, and obviously it would be less fine to call them a nerd

or, I’m not particularly bothered by mild profanity, whereas some people are very bothered by it, and that doesn’t mean either of us is wrong, just that the two of us would benefit from communities with different norms surrounding its use
