I think we should follow this step by step plan to remove certain letters from English

“For example, in Year 1 that useless letter “c” would be dropped to be replased either by “k” or “s,” and likewise “x” would no longer be part of the alphabet. The only kase in which “c” would be retained would be the “ch” formation, which will be dealt with later. Year 2 might reform “w” spelling, so that “which” and “one” would take the same konsonant, wile Year 3 might well abolish “y” replasing it with “i” and Iear 4 might fiks the “g/j” anomali wonse and for all.
Jenerally, then, the improvement would kontinue iear bai iear with Iear 5 doing awai with useless double konsonants, and Iears 6-12 or so modifaiing vowlz and the rimeining voist and unvoist konsonants. Bai Iear 15 or sou, it wud fainali bi posibl tu meik ius ov thi ridandant letez “c,” “y” and “x”–bai now jast a memori in the maindz ov ould doderez–tu riplais “ch,” “sh,” and “th” rispektivli.
Fainali, xen, aafte sam 20 iers ov orxogrefkl riform, wi wud hev a lojikl, kohirnt speling in ius xrewawt xe Ingliy-spiking werld.”

Thats exactly why I am saying socially acceptable.
It is socially acceptable to call someone a nerd even if he doesn’t like it.

Why would that be socially acceptable

In future We will communicate by sending brain waves in morse code

id argue it still depends

like if someone is just like enjoying something (like being a spelling bee enthusiast) and you are maliciously calling them a nerd for doing that and making them feel like they shouldn’t have those interests its not socially acceptable

it’s just being a dick

take that

Oh hi

being like “haha arete is nerd for doing X arete thing” isn’t bad because it’s not an insult and arete is okay with that

but like it can get into mean territory depending on context

wow.
something where its inaccurate to say something is always the case or never the case, and this has happened at least 3 times so far in this conversation?

who could have predicted this?

I think saying something entirely unnecesary that someone has said they are uncomfortable with because you find it funny is like, in general, never ok
