True. Mostly because for some reason, nobody tries to play LyLo properly. (Wolfiest people crossvote, then people commit to their votes in the order from scummiest to towniest.)
Yeah, they did! And I’m proud of them for it. There was a game on MU where I spent 75% of the day phase trying to force the two wolfiest people to crossvote, and they didn’t. If they did, then we probably would’ve lynched a wolf.
They were W/V, so yeah. Would’ve guaranteed us a chance to lynch correctly. That’s why you do it.
I don’t know why people won’t do it. Obviously, the wolves don’t want this, but why do the villagers not want it?

sometimes you’re a villager and you’re scared the person trying to get you to cross is a wolf

That’s why there should never be only one person deciding the order? It should be a group of people.
If the wolves end up as the “towniest,” then the game is lost anyway, so it’s whatever.
But if villagers are villagery (or at least some of them are), then a victory is highly likely.
as villa in LyLo I always slightly secretly hope someone votes me so that I can’t be blamed for the loss or have to make a decision

the trick is to put yourself on L-1 in LyLo and then blame everyone else when town loses
