the only thing you lose on discord is BBcode/html

“it’s possible” doesn’t mean it’s easy. it’s so much harder and would ultimately discourage making longer posts, which brings us back to the spam issue.

has been done, happens, it’s way easier when you’re using discord
again “easier” doesn’t mean easy. why would you do that when you can play on a forum.
keeping track of votes is harder. it’s hard to make sure there is no hammer or who is voting who etc etc. people are more trigger happy with votes.
ISO is harder when people can post way more and often. search functionality on discord is bad.
it doesn’t save the place you were while reading. If you missed like 1000 posts, good luck reading all of them without repeatedly skipping to the present posts.
