IIRC part of what he was trying to say there was that no one was actually bothering to engage with his reads, which was in part because the wolves didn’t want to have to deal with refuting them, and instead were going to just kill him N1 so they didn’t have to deal with him

You can’t use thread reads, VCA, nor association to find the NK, which is why I don’t like it as you’re basically relying on them having a set meta and if they are indistinguishable by meta then they are literally unfindable.

for what it’s worth I actually don’t think I’ve ever scumread you incorrectly for pushing a player I thought was LHF

in my experience when I’ve misread you on the basis of disagreeing with your reads it’s usually been the other way around, you were defending someone I thought was wolfy and I misinterpreted it as a wolf defending their partner

People do this a lot, which is pretty much nonsense as I’m far more pushy with my reads a town.

one thing I’ve noticed about my play is that if I’m being aggressive early and pushing people, people are like ‘WOLF WOLF WOLF :joy_cat:’ as happened in RM4 even though I’m far more likely to do that as V, whereas if I’m having calm and rational discussions about my reads people usually townread me for it (which is silly as that’s something I’m capable of doing as either alignment)

This is something that I’ve ranted several times.

Being aggressive is villagery. Like, wolves play like complete potatoes on this site and the number of people who can powerwolf efficiently can be counted in one hand, and even then I don’t do that as I am familiar with the site meta.
