Use both styles depending on the tone and message you want to convey. A long analytical post in proper grammar is much easier to read and work through, while quick off-the-cuff posts in a more relaxed style flow better, especially on Discourse.

I’d personally swap back if the goal is to “dunk on” someone, but if you’re trying to make a serious case it should be in proper grammar, because people need to parse your points, and that’s way easier in well-formatted formal writing.
