this is a dumb question but are they all playable on pc
they are, right?
How do you feel about emulation
i’ve done it only for mobile games for #reasons
Because 3 and 4 are easily emulatable via PCSX2, although some would argue that Persona 4 Golden for the Vita is the best version and the one most worth playing.
idr if that’s emulatable
console exclusives are the worst thing
i hate consoles
pads bad
i know i’m only saying this because i have little to no experience with pads but
still
Persona 5 is on the PS3 and PS4, of which I think the PS3 might have an emulator?
Persona 5 Royal is an expanded version of P5 and I can tell you which is better when I finish it but that’s strictly for PS4
for the record, playing with a keyboard is almost certainly much less comfortable for any Persona game
in fact I would highly recommend just using a controller if you do nab them via an emulator
All told though a used PS3 should run pretty damn cheap and will grant access to Persona 3 FES, Persona 4, and Persona 5
A PS2 could do 3/4, and if you can find a PSTV over there that’ll allow P4 Golden instead
I do highly highly recommend checking them out some way or another
ever just write a post
see a like on it
and know exactly who liked it without seeing the notification
i might just watch a playthrough when i’m done with lolanime
might be the best way i can experience it
i don’t think i can overcome my controller bias just yet
whenever i get more than one like notification i assume it’s either arete (if it’s outside of an FM game) or TBE (if it’s inside an FM game)
and yes
I did know arete liked this before clicking it
I said outloud “arete” before I clicked the heart to see who it was
i mean arete can just like every single post so i can’t blame them for spamliking
I mean
assuming it’s arete works like 50% of the itme
and i’d estimate that 1/4 of the posts that have been liked that I have made have been liked by arete
about 10 percent of your total likes received come from me, so it would depend on the distribution of likes across your posts
*20
I mean
The issue really is that the games are designed for a controller
So things like moving would probably be awkward and I could easily see that making trying to ambush enemies from behind very frustrating
Furthermore, the UI is really built around a controller - take the P5 UI, for example
Imagine that without a controller - kinda defeats the purpose of the layout lol
oh wait I was looking at your likes given to me, rather than my likes given to you
