As wolf you can literally do what you want. Be towny, be scummy, be whatever. Doesn’t matter, as long as you don’t get your scumpartners killed (by bussing or by association)
As town, you are very very limited in your actions.
I think the only reason I got there is because of a certain realization I had recently that improved my reads.

at this point I’m pretty sure that 99 percent of ‘why are you scum’ comments are a meme
‘why are you town,’ on the other hand, is an actually useful question the responses to which can be very AI
“Why are you town?” is a genuinely better question. Also, it is important to prove you’re town as town. Otherwise you get mislynched.
Game 6 in Champs was a town sweep primarily because the villagers were excellent at projecting V energy. Getting a mislynch was nigh-impossible.

I think he’s talking about self-preservation during the day, rather than the night, like when sulit forced Society to vote for you even though Possessed townread your hydra, and that allowed the lynch to rand onto you
