I only remember my dreams (long-term) if they leave a strong impression on me, which doesn’t happen often. I usually remember my dreams for a while when I wake up, though.

this is probably a joke, but nonetheless
not sleeping in is not the same as not sleeping. just get up at the same time every day. i personally struggle with the “just do the thing” type instructions, a la ‘just get up when your alarm goes off’ so i have some more concrete tips for getting up at the same time every day if anyone wants that.

even when i go to bed at 4:00 am i wake up at 7:30 in the morning, almost no exceptions

you can of course choose a later time if you like. i just prefer to get up early, as getting up late just feels icky to me
