Using voting power, assume win rand and bot dies:

Now 2v3v4

Alice probs bans a maf, maf kills a bot, alice gets a new bot

Now 2v2v4

Win rand on a bot again, now 2v2v3

If alice bans maf, maf kills bot, new bot created: 2v1v3

Win rand on bot: 2v1v2

Alice has to ban a town now to prevent parity possibility, now 1v1v2 the next day (Would be reverse if she had banned more town).

Ok so now they have to go for alice because even if maf kills a bot tonight she’ll generate a new one the next day and with a ban she’ll have majority. And if alice dies, maf wins the 1v1 with town of course.

So essentially, only way town can win is if the game somehow gets to 2 town votes vs 2 alice votes with all maf dead (it’s impossible for alice to ever have less than 2 votes during the day). Other than that, the only thing town could do was be kingmaker between alice and maf / help maf even the odds on the road to town’s own doom.

If we didn’t kill both dat and chloe by the end of the day that one of them received the mod powers, if and when both of them were dead, the powers would pass over us entirely and just go to the NK if the NK was still alive

The only way we were getting the powers were one of three cases:

  1. Both dat and chloe are dead by the end of the day that one of them activates the power, or anytime earlier than that.
  2. We don’t satisfy 1, but by the time dat and chloe are dead, modeshifter is already dead.
  3. We don’t satisfy 1 or 2, but later kill ModeShifter; at that point, the powers presumably come to us.

So yes mode trumped us for the mod powers since we didn’t kill chloe fast enough.
