Loads of Reworks [Class Reworks and Suggestions]

Reworks and Class Ideas

Maid and Squire are from FoL with a few adjustments
Noble as a pure Vote Manipulator
Scribe to take on role of whispers, messages, and logs
And Priest Revival to properly rework Psychic and Physician

But otherwise, please critique and enjoy!

I have combined the Phys, Priest, Psychic reworks with this thread. I’ll refer the two threads to one another here.

Social Reworks

Psychic: Night Communication
Noble: Vote Manipulation
Priest: Dead Communication
Scribe: Whisper and Message Manipulation
Apostle: Vote, Whisper, Logs, and Dead Communication

I like the Noble and Aristocrat as pure vote manipulators.

I like the Maid, but I think you should simplify it. The player needs to know how it works without needing to refer to something.

Squire and Page are interesting ideas.

For Scribe, Night Reports is an investigative ability, not a Social one.

Dude. Just make it: Check if 2 players are compatible. Members of the same Faction are compatible. Royals are not compatible. Merc is compatible with her contract.

The original squire and Maid are already perfect. The new Maid rules seem over complicated for just one class - the normal Maid works fine.

I do really like your noble tho.

Question: Can Page choose Mercenary to become Sellsword?

Also, why does Scribe Spy on 2 people?

I am guessing because people find maid spy really weak for some reason. I’d say its fine.

I’d say no based on how it is worded. I would also say no due to it being the strongest Unseen class. What do you think it SHOULD be?

I don’t particularly care. I just want to know.

I had the intent of only Blue Dragon classes and converts and it says they can only choose dead BD players.

Sellsword is a convert tho

But Merc is a Neutral class and Sellsword is the strongest convert

And @NightX how is the Scribe/Forger’s abilities now? Pure Social?

Why only 2 uses on the forger?

Yeah, pure social. The Messenger is a weaker Telepathy, since it can only occur in the morning.

I had to figure something out so I brought back Crier, and I don’t know why @NuclearBurrito

Just make it once per dead BD player.

I’d give both the priest and the heretic (just call her the soulcatcher ffs) The defensive passives they used to have. Unlike every other class in the game they cannot do anything N1 no matter what. Every class in the game either gets a purpose if they die N1 through this class (sheriff, obs, ect) or has already at least done SOMETHING (Prince, Psychic, Knight, ect) this class is the exception.

This does not need to be limited.

This belongs on the whisper manipulator. You already saw what I would want instead if you have seen my social class rework thread.

Why can’t he be starting?

This ability is extremely powerful and can make an otherwise unconfirmable class easy to confirm.

This belongs on the vote manipulator

Why does this have less uses than on the scribe?

I just have this bias that Unseen converts should get different abilities but less uses, just me

What’s the point of Soulcatcher using souls? It just seems to make them harder to play for no reason. Just keep Priest abilities, and ditch reanimate for Heretic.

Also I still maintain what I think about Psychic.

That’s your perspective, I’ll respect that, but there’s kind of a whispers and chat class found in Scribe and Forger now.

And thanks @NuclearBurrito I made the edits except for Animist, (no longer Heretic) because Animist has to be converted, and thus will almost always be able to do something the moment they’re converted to the Unseen.

I get that it is in Scribe and Forget, but that isn’t the point. The fact is Psychic is redundant, and if you reworked it instead of making a new class, it would add the whispers while eliminating redundancy. Scribe and Forget are good classes, but their abilities easily fit Psychic. It already had Private Matters.
