Merc is far too powerful when contacted to Cult/Unseen

That seems cool

I would like rebound to become a straight up: Kill target player

You keep the funny part of being a alch. Claim bleeding. Rebound. Now they need you

Why would we prevent non attacking players for the Sellsword? I don’t think it’d be overpowered, as it only affects Knight, NK, and Hunter.

Otherwise I like it a lot. I think I’d still give them something to help survive, maybe a day ability like stone skin. Their basic goal is still to ā€œsurviveā€ since they have to see the opposite faction lose.

I’m pretty sure preventing kills as a person who wants the evils to win is…

And it wins with Nk

But they don’t need to survive to win.

It prevents investigative classes too you know.

Okay. It’s not ā€œsurvive to see the Blue Dragon loseā€ just ā€œSee the Blue Dragon loseā€. Never mind, I have no problems with it. I assumed they had to be alive.

I think I get why it doesn’t prevent attacks, since they want to not guard BD from attacking NKs, Cult Leaders, or Assassins.

Or you can make it a psudo-WoF

That makes the class basically aligned to one of the factions, but can win with NK.

It isn’t really neutral, with that you may as well make them BD and Unseen/Cult respectively.

Half of the Neutrals people have posted in the Neuts topic have been Anti-BD.

Pretty much every neutral is going to favor one faction over the other.

Alch and Inq are generally more favorable to the BD.

Fool and Scorned are more favorable to the Evils.

The only true neutral is a class that just sits there and only has to survive with only abilities that help them survive.

I’d consider a class that hurts both sides to be True Neutral in some situations. However overall that line of reasoning gives you the NK’s which we already have. Combine that with ā€œMake the BD fallā€ being one of the most interesting standard wincon for a neutral and it’s no wonder everyone is suggesting then.

TLDR: I agree with you and I know why that is. Even my Merchant class which is more neutral than most is fairly Scum Sided.

Even with a true neutral class, it’ll generally end up trying to help the BD at first, because that’s the safer option.

However that means that these classes cannot make BD or Unseen/Cult win if they alone survive. They can win even when everyone else is wiped out.

I’ve done my best to make that a bad idea for the Merchant at first by making his wincon require going against the winning team. However that’s still not True Neutral even if it is closer.

So ya. It’s a shame but it’s still not that bad anyways.

Along with Livicus of course.

I’ve mentioned this before but I would want an: Anti King, Anti BD and a True Neutral (as close as possible) Obviously we can’t do all of them at once (right?) so it would take time but still.
