As I was trying to say, there was a role in Anni one year that killed people if they misrated the quality of moustaches, which if modified very slightly and given a more overtly deadly flavour could easily mean Hippo was dayvigged.
There’s also my favourite possibility, which is it was just Hippo Being Hippo and wolves vigged him for comedic value and to confuse the shit out of us.
