I know this does not defend my role.
But Eevee almost assuredly put my role in because of the factions of pink and blue.

Normally an investigative could only see someone of their opposite faction. So by having my first ability be a 1 person watcher, it means I can see someone of my own faction.

This makes sense of why the blue/pink mechanic was so important
