Alright. That works.
Oh and careful wording is needed so that a possessed King can double vote
Or we could implement a stalemate breaker, but that’s very complicated and would not be met with approval I imagine.
For example:
Prince vs EK = BD wins
Hunter vs EK = BD wins
Butler vs EK = BD wins (because he can “poison” him, even if he can’t, get it?)
Some other “flavor” examples can be added I guess.
This is a stalemate breaker for when king would have lost his 2-votes passive and it’d be a EK vs 1 BD scenario.
We would only need the stalemate breaker when the situation is actually a stalemate
Meaning that a King that hasn’t used DF is only ever in a stalemate with a Hunter. which should be a BD win
I said that this stalemate breaker would resolve the situation where it’s EK vs 2 BD and King uses slam to make it 1v1. Make a couple BD classes win regardless of this, because they’re “powerful”. You get what I mean, right?
No because Prince VS EK isn’t stalemate if EK still has the double vote.
A stalemate breaker should not make someone who would have won loose
Read the thread Nuclear…
We are discussing a world where King has a passive 2-vote ability, not finger.
yes. I am aware
So you would want EK to win vs 2 BD regardless of their classes except Hunter in our world?
While king still has his passive up (has not used DF) the only stalemate situation is EK vs Hunter which should be a BD win.
Prince vs EK would be an EK win if he still has his passive
If he does not have his passive then ANY BD wins that tie
No. He wins against any 1 BD and loses against any 2 unless he can trick them into a mislynch
Eh, idk, I think we’re discussing two different things.
I said we should give king passive double vote, but he would lose it if he uses decide fate at any point.
In that world, king can’t win 1v1 (unless he has DF), so it would have to be resolved by a stalemate breaker.
Right. Which doesn’t depend on which BD.
So Sheriff vs EK (no DF) = BD win
Okay, sounds good I guess.
You were bringing in Prince and Butler in particular as if they would be exceptions to some rule.
Non-Hunter BD vs EK (with DF) = Scum win
BD vs EK (no DF) = BD win
Hunter vs EK (with DF) = BD win
Scum (NK or Unseen/Cult) = Play it out
I wanted it to be a flavor tbh. But your way of resolving it makes sense, because it wouldn’t change the way we do it now, 2v1 would be a loss for EK unless mislynch.
/support
this is in fol and it’s fantastic, makes more room for another day ability too
Does King win 2v1 in FoL because of this? Can King just passively vote twice and then slam here or?
