27 rooms.
So chances a room is originally chosen is
1/27 (x4)

Chances False rolls as Majority is:
1/27 (x4) x 1/23 (As 27 - False and the other 3 rooms = 27 - 4 = 23) = 1/621 @KyoDaz

Iā€™m starting to doubt False is Majority now.

It probably gets a bit more complicated than that, because itā€™s technically 1/27 + 1/26 + 1/25 + 1/24 because rooms canā€™t be picked twice.

Ah yes, AP Stats was a good time.

Methnor is correct here. That being said, False has the same chances of being picked - it just has a 1/23 chance of being Majority that you then need to multiply in.

So any given room has around a 15% chance of being picked, but thereā€™s a 4% chance that False chose to be Majority, leading to a 0.6% chance of a False Majority overall.

I aint picking it anyway. I want that Saint buff.

Oh and if anyone wants to steal my Saint buff just know there is a chance you get Cursed and if I do get cursed instead of you I have healthy so it doesnā€™t really affect me.

ya know if you donā€™t pick the majority room and it isnā€™t false then you still die, right?

If you pick Majority and itā€™s false and Majority is the Majority you die.

Ignore that.

He said ā€œyesā€

Actually the probability that any room in question is chosen is:
1 - ((26/27) * (25/26) * (24/25) * (23/24))
And if false is rolled then thereā€™s one more roll to determine its appearance, but in that roll false cannot be rolled
So the probability of a false appearing as majority being rolled is as follows:
(1 - ((26/27) * (25/26) * (24/25) * (23/24))) * (1/26)
Or 1/26 the chance of it actually being majority

No, False canā€™t roll as any other room in the pool

Other than that though you are correct

then what can false roll as
