Room idea

Duplicate: Takes the effect of the room with the most pickers at the time before this resolves.

(The reason it’s worded like that is because that effect could make it the majority)

Ex:

Gravity: 2
Mundane: 2
Duplicate: 2
Permanentcy: 0

Gravity triggers (ima start ignoring perm)

Gravity: 3
Mundane: 1
Duplicate: 2

Duplicate triggers as gravity

Gravity: 2
Mundane: 1
Duplicate: 3

Everyone in Duplicate dies.

Should probably mention 4 things.

1: The room Duplicated is random in a tie.

2: Duplicate cares about the number of pickers rather than the majority. This means that the majority room and other similar rooms don’t effect this room.

3: If Duplicate is the majority then the 2nd most picked room is duplicated

4: Duplicate ALWAYS resolves last(so if it copy’s gravity and moves someone from holy they would gain saint/cursed before being moved. If they went in death then Duplicate can’t save them.)

if one of those things is a bad idea then that’s fine don’t use them. This is just how I would imagine it works.

Looks interesting. I’m not gonna add it in the Christmas game as there are already a couple of extra mechanics so I am keeping the rooms the same as Meth, but someone should try it out for future.

I like the Duplicate room a lot.

I have been playing Minority Rule over Facebook with some friends and I added a “Gemini” room that gives you the Gemini status. The Gemini status forces you to pick two rooms every round. While you can possibly benefit by picking both a Rejuvenate room or Air room, you also die if either of your picks are in the majority. It’s kind of a double edged sword, but is mostly a negative effect except for rare circumstances.
