Yeah. That seems the easiest to me. Dunno how others think, but this is how I think of it.
since warp votes have no nominee
Humu. Consistent and easier to manage. Very well.
For warp votes this is the case since there is no nominee
Airlock votes have a nominee so vote locking there would use the nominee as last and work just like BotF locking, of course
this seem good? @Zone_Q11
If so, I’ll edit it into the OP. Ping me if/when u have more questions or comments.
Ah… that will do, yes.
Again; to me (and me only) this seems good.
I trust ur judgement
Read the roles when u have time and ping me w/ any questions, ty!
Seat 11 was taken by Kyo, so…
/in as Seat 10
OP Updated. Ping me if there’s anything else I should add / alter there, and/or if you have any other questions or comments.
Er i still kind of see a problem with this system
Like if queen is alive in the late game, she becomes really really powerful since she and her allies can just hammer no lynch all the time, no matter if her allies are alive or dead.
If anyone has a solution for this, or thinks it isn’t a problem, pls think, explain, and ping me.
Maybe we could do something like:
You can vote for Anti-Warp. Dead people can also spend their warp ghost vote on this instead of warp. Maybe this shouldn’t lock? Idk.
If twice as many or more (possibly some other ratio, if something else would be better) players are voting for anti-warp than warp, the ship cannot warp until this is no longer the case.
Thoughts?
I could also do something like no matter the votes, the ship is not capable of warping for the first five minutes (or some other amount of time, if something else would be better) of each day, or something.
To prevent dumb instant quickhammer situations
Since every time there’s a no jettison (or a corpse is jettisoned instead of a living player), queen gets another conversion, if she is in the game and alive.
Or i could just not have anti-warping, and say that the ship cant warp for the first half hour or hour each day, or something (lmk if a different amount of time would be better).
So that scum cant just quickhammer a no lynch before town has the time to try to put someone in the airlock first, if they want
Let me know peoples’ thoughts on this issue when you have time. Thank you!
Uh… I am still not quite at the characters yet, but I am pretty sure this is not the way to go.
No warp -> Attack -> Dead player -> Not good for living players
So I disagree with this motion.
Yeah, this sounds better. Though 5 minutes is rather short. If this were to start, I’d expect around 60 minutes as the bare minimum, and roughly 12 hours as my personal optimum minimum.
Don’t pull the cart before the horse. Think about early game first, and then the late game. It ain’t as if the votes were locked immediately in BotF III either, so I doubt this will even be much of a big deal.
Yeah… I haven’t seen about the conversion thing yet, but… remind me why living players can’t get airlocked?
Yeah that was a typo.
How about nine hours?
They can be. What I meant is that any time that doesn’t happen, if there’s a living queen in the game, she gets to convert an extra player.
Ah, nice. Same thoughts.
If we are to use BotF voting mechanics in the first place, then scum can’t even quickhammer anything even if they are lined up in the player list. Did you even see the votes at BotF III? Nobody spent their vote until the endgame, so quickhammers are virtually impossible.
