You’re not wrong. We randed an evil team that was uniquely capable of shooting each other in the foot. We had:
The evil Bishop, who stops anyone from nominating;
The Witch, whose ability needs people to be nominating;
The Vortox, who wins if there isn’t an execution;
and the Cerenovus, who gives at least one person a way to force an execution on any given day.
Doppelganger would have been a real fun draw. Make people listen to that, maybe even get the Town Crier to be more active with their info.
Nerbins and Luxy were the two who tricked me to reveal I was mafia but not actually mafia in a clown fiesta game xP

so first i chose nuclear because i thought he would be a LHF
but then realized it was bishop
and so tried to switch to who i thought would piss off hosts the most for a spite-kill

I have to be honest, I found it endlessly amusing that the Town Crier had the gamesolve by knowing that Marshal was the only person left alive who could possibly be Minion, then Barber swap goes down and suddenly Marshal isn’t registering as a Minion… and instead of IDing Marshal as Demon, started tinfoiling that a Minion got nightkilled to look townie.
But more on the randing of the game;
We randed Vortox from a 1/4 for our possible Demons.
Pulled our first Minion on a 1/4, got Witch, removed them from the pool, went again, and got Cere.
The Outsiders actually weren’t randed; we barred Sweetheart because she’d be largely ineffective in a Vortox game (drunkenness gets trumped by Vortox forcing all info to be false), and removed Klutz because we didn’t want people slanking out of the whole twelve hours and costing good the game like that. So Mutant and Barber it was.
And when it came to the Townsfolk… Hoo boy. We barred Clockmaker, Mathematician and Artist. Clockmaker because we didn’t think that the players would find it fun to be D1 policy lynched, Math because they get really unhelpful once town figures out that it’s Vortox game, and Artist because again, Vortox test and then policy lynch isn’t terribly fun. Randed the remaining ten and picked three to remove, on a blind pull… we removed Philo, SC and Juggler. I was so upset by that. But we made it work with those Demon bluffs.
The Travelers were their own fun. N actually had one thing right, two evil Travelers would have been supremely unfair to good, so we decided that if the first Traveler rolled evil, we’d force the second to be good. We rolled Dat first, and you all know the rest.
But I digress… Everyone stay tuned for Blood on the Forums 3: Moonlight Badness, coming… probably sooner than EFG followed Trouble Brewing. I mean, we’re on quarantine, the hell else are we gonna do?

We should be fine with that, right? They don’t want us using the unreleased roles on the BotCcord, but I’d assume that they were revealed for a reason and it should be fine to play with them IRL and elsewhere online, correct?
