Alright, folks, our player count’s been fluctuating a bit, and checking the poll, it seems we have a narrow margin (5/4, votes from people who aren’t playing are not counted) in favor of starting the game, so barring any particularly pressing reasons why we should hold, we’ll likely be starting this in the morning (currently almost midnight for both hosts). If you object to this slaughter, speak now or forever hold your peace.

A quick word for how we start; after the gamecomp is built, each player will be given their character via DM. Once all players have received their character, the first night will begin; this will be marked by the creation of the game thread, so keep an eye out for that, and if you somehow didn’t get your character DM, let us know. Once all relevant actions for the first night have been processed, Day 1 will begin, and that’s when you fine folks get to take the reins.

the endgame trigger for this game can be confusion so let me explain

Good’s wincon is to kill the demon. This means lynching the Pukka, Po, or Shabbolath once, or lynching the Zombuul twice (since the zombuul secretly lives after its first death).

Evil’s wincon is to have the game not end before there are two are fewer players alive. The game may also be called for evil if everyone alive is evil before F2, since no one would nominate the demon if everyone alive was evil.

If both wincons are satisfied simultaneously, good wins. Otherwise, whichever side achieves their win condition first, wins.
