As someone who hasnโ€™t played Magnus misc before:

Do we mostly get to pick everything for our character (class, Validus, etc.)?

Do all characters start in the same spot/status in the world or will it depend on who you are?

You spawn randomly depends on your character backstory and sometimes how the plot want you to. Your starting Times also probably depends on your backstory as well.
