A note for the start of the game:
I am good. I am hardclaiming good
I am not going to provide my exact win condition, as that provides evils and anti-wincon wildcards/neutrals information that I do not deem necessary to share. I will simply say that more people dying is anti-wincon for me.
I expect a large amount of players to be good, and almost everybody to want to survive
For almost any role ever, dying is bad. Either you need to escape as part of your win condition, or you need to be alive to either support your win condition or complete it at all. My job, and likely the job of all other good players is to help keep you safe. Even you, evils. You may have a win condition that involves murdering others, but itās not very easy for you to kill others if you are dead. My hope here is to keep each and every one of you as safe as possible in the name of advancing my and your win conditions
Because I want people to survive, I will be instituting and enforcing a system for roaming, for at least the first phase
We will call this the 444 system. We will have 3 groups of 4 who stick together during roaming. This is absolutely necessary to prevent people dying early. The way that most people died in vldr1 was by going alone with 1 or 2 other people, If you want to survive, you stick together. If you donāt comply, donāt think you can hide from us. The starting room is very small. I still think it is good to stick together. If everyone is not accounted for, murder could happen and accidents could be had. You do not want to be the victim. And you do not want to be lacking an alibi upon the eventual death of a person. Stay with the groups. At least for the first phase.
I think itās best if we decide among ourselves what groups we go with. We should find some friends and search the (relatively small) area together.
The way most people died was by going alone and not enforcing groups. Good lost numbers very early because people went alone, and large numbers of goods were wiped out by evils. Neutrals and wildcards got killed too. Evil knows no bounds. It just wants to kill. Stick together if you donāt want to die
Gun control in this game is stupid. Everyone can have weapons
Forcing people to hand over weapons is not the way to go. Unless they are being restrained and imprisoned for crimes, iām not going to limit peopleās bearing of arms. Most killing roles will probably have starting, role-specific weapons, and forcing people to hand over any weapons will only lead to people who are not killers having no way of self defense.
On the topic of restraining peopleā¦
Suspected persons will not be killed unless they pose a very extreme threat to the lives of others. Only restrained (or closely watched)
Many good thrive on keeping others alive. We may need these people to live to fulfill our win conditions. Murdering a neutral who made an evil-type play or a good who made a mistake or blunder is a very very bad idea. Restraint is the way to go. I want to avoid killing others unless absolutely necessary as death is anti-wincon for myself, and killing others early will only lead to their own experience being hurt.

Iām tired and do not find it insanely relevant. We can talk about what to do here if we want to. There will probably be roles that interact with ambidex and allying and betraying. We talk about it when we get there.
