It just requires to make room isolated puzzles, which also would require designing more puzzles and more elaborate rooms, so I understand why that wasn’t a choice that was made but still.
The map was also super unfriendly for evils. Just a big hallway with 1 door rooms. The only circle was the kitchen/entryway/dining room.
This is something i said as well and want to focus on in addition to restrict movement.
Game was… probably good+neut sided because of the fact that we could stick together and kill of suspicious people
and like there was some deduciton as part of it, I had nap/alice/apprentice/TBE all socially cleared by end of roaming 1 because of how their plays matched their claims
but yeah with people sticking together and picking off the sus ones, it was kind of like town of salem as opposed to a more open-world thing because we just killed da evils
I also didn’t know other evils, so THAT could work if we had a scumchat kind of idea. I would have aided PKR and let Italy watch in round 1 and just offed Marshal (And then be fucked by their ability) If I had known anything, but everyone is a lost wolf, which really didn’t work in a game where good can stay so tight knit.
I tried to do some subtle psychological things to make people feel like a “team”
Encouraging people to stick in groups, trying to make the game more about puzzle solving than winning, encouraging people to confide in app so they would unite under a de facto “leader”, who trusted me and was trying to get people to win and had insane weaponry and info-control
and then picking off the evils and forming a “towncore”
I think in the end I played this well, sorry about screwing y’all over at the end, but in all honesty it really wasn’t my choice and I thought app was going to ally, but when he betrayed I went all-out on pushing him through because I knew he couldn’t be killed.

tbh I feel like the hyperlowposters should have been subbed
because super low activity meant that it was
a] impossible to socially read them (unless they just scumclaim lol)
b] not really possible for them to work towards their wincon in a meaningful way
And that ended up decreasing game quality because we had 2 basically “dead” slots

italy is morally the most evil person here and the very idea that i am a decent person is a bold claim
also if the TL thing didn’t happen I think solic almost always dies there
because we were planning on knocking him out (and killing him if he had gun, which he did)
probably wouldn’t be easy to do so but with the mob we probably could have
i have yet to murder anyone but that’s just something that always runs through my head for whatever reason
