So basically it overcomplicates trials for no forseeable benefit other than anonymous accusations, which harsm BD more than it helps, and generally overcomplicates everything for no forseeable reason.

Nope.

nope it good at end game you can select confirmed bd as jurors

So, you need Endgame when Prince and Sherrif/Paladin are usually dead, yourself not to be dead, and even then there is still going to be one non-confirmed on the Jury, and thus thatā€™s useless.

That dosenā€™t mean it dosenā€™t stupidly overcomplicate trials.

better trials if you ask me.

also, you can have a confirmed CW as well

Oh great. 4 roles need to be alive in endgame, at which point you donā€™t even need the role because BD will almost certainly win.

WHY IS THIS BETTER? It makes Trials drag on and not everyone can get questions in. The whole point of trials is that itā€™s meant to be easy for people to hijack them.

Itā€™s the whole point of the game. You canā€™t cancel out the point of a game twice, Unseen or not.
It removes all the skill from trials.

the judge makes it hard for unseen to hijack

disagreed. any player can get a voice by becoming prosecutor.

also, taking the ability from unseen to take over trials is useful, even if it ā€œtakes the skill out of trials.ā€

lastly, if an unseen does become juror, you can veto.

the trial drags on, but it is the only day. I donā€™t think it would be longer than a normal day.

And only one person can do that. Sorry, you need to sit out, you werenā€™t elected! WATCH EVERYONE PLAY THE GAME FOR YOU.

I meant that the whole point of the game is deception, and hijacking wagons to force mislynches. Making a role just to counter this is dumb.

And finally, you donā€™t have to THINK that much to use the role. Sherrif has an Unseen but not lynched?
BAM TRIAL LYNCH THEM REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

It takes the skill out of trials in a game of skill.

if 16 players alive:

1 of them is a defendant.
5 are jurors.
1 is a judge.
there will be prosecutor, but anyone can try to be the prosecutor.
everyone can talk to jurors during deliberation.

5+1+1 = 7/16

Oh lookie here

You had to explain the mechanic to me, it didnā€™t come intuitively.

Itā€™s overcomplicated, and we donā€™t want that!

there can still be hijacking. An unseen can become prosecutor when there is an unseen on trial and be really unconvincing.

an unseen that previously made themselves trusted can become a juror.

anyone can speak to jurors and give false information.

plenty of opportunities to hi-jack

what is the problem with taking back the court from the unseen?

just because it is harder for unseen to hijack doesnā€™t make it take the skill out; it adds difficulty for them, thatā€™s it.

look in discord. people constantly have misconceptions on the classes.

Listen:

Itā€™s ability is too situational! Itā€™s ability is too overcomplicated!
Itā€™s ability takes away chances to deceive in a game of deception.

How many times have you had to say ā€˜Ifā€™ to explain how the Unseen could hijack the trial?
See! The more 'ifā€™s the worse a class is.

being situational is bad for BD.
taking away chances to deceive is good for BD>

which is it? it canā€™t be both over powered and under powered at the same time.

Itā€™s swingy.

Thatā€™s what I mean. Itā€™s either useless or itā€™s overpowered.

Do you understand that this is bad?

the more ifs, the more replay ability.

the actual mechanics donā€™t have that many ifs. The strategy does. ALL CLASSES HAVE ā€œIFSā€ IN STRATEGY.

Iā€™m going to change it, but it is not bad.
