Mystic and Illusionnist Rework v1.3

Mystic

Abilities
  • Passive 1: Mind Network- Can speak with other players that have this passive in a separate chat at all times(day and night). You may see who else has this passive. You will keep this passive even if your class changes.

  • Passive 2: Vision - You will appear as “telepathy” to players in the Mind Network. Players in the mind network will not know who you are. You will keep this passive even if your class changes.

  • Night Ability 1: Conduit(Uses: Unlimited?) - Immediately grant your target the mind network passive.

  • Night Ability 2: Seance(Uses: 1) - Immediately send your target a message. You may edit this message at any time.

  • Day Ability 1: Hack(Uses: Unlimited)(could use a new name)- Immediately remove the Mind Network passive from your target. Can only target players with the Mind Network passive.

*> Day Ability 2: Telepathy(Uses: Unlimited) - Your messages, whispers, and accusations of treason will be anonymous for the rest of the day. You will appear as “Telepathy” to the court. This ability can be used multiple times in the same day. Select this ability while it is still active to disable it.

  • Passive 2: Vision - You will appear as “telepathy” to players in the Mind Network. Players in the mind network will not be able to see who you are(you are not shown in the window). You will keep this passive even if your class changes.

  • Night Ability 1: Mind Warp(Uses: Unlimited) - Cause your target to receive incorrect feedback from their abilities. Receive their night feedback.

  • Night Ability 2: Conduit(Uses: Unlimited) - Immediately grant your target the mind network passive

  • Day Ability 1: Hack(Uses: Unlimited)(could use a new name) - Immediately remove the Mind Network passive from your target. Can only target players with the Mind Network passive.

  • Day Ability 2: Telepathy(Uses: Unlimited) - Your messages, whispers, and accusations of treason will be anonymous for the rest of the day. You will appear as “Telepathy” to the court. This ability can be used multiple times in the same day. Select this ability while it is still active to disable it.

Illusionist can’t add people to the chat, so it’s quite confirmable when they have been converted. No different than the current situation, but thought I’d highlight it.

It isn’t that complicated, just a lot to read and some technical info. Mind network just serves as a separate chat. Conduit adds a player to the chat. Seance sends a message in the form of private notes. Hack removes a player from the chat. Vision causes you to appear as “Telepathy” to everyone in the Mind Network. Telepathy is the same as before, except it now works on votes and accusations.

You know what would make it easier. If I didn’t have to click an arrow just to read every different ability

Also, is the name for hack fine? And are telepathy and seance fine with unlimited uses?

No. 2 uses for telepathy and 1 use for seance

Just changed it, but why should seance be only 1 use?

More odds of having used it before getting converted means better odds of not being outed as Illusionist and less odds of mystics using it to prove.

I would also try and replace Hypnotize with Conduit. Possibly try and merge one of them with Mind Warp somehow?

Conduit should remain on Mystic. Converted classes should be different. And if you give Illusionist conduit then it will be too hard to tell if a Mystic is converted.

This form of Mystic is more important to be unconformable than the current mystic because a 4 person neighborhood is useful on it’s own merits without anyone being hard confirmed.

It’s literally the purpose of the unseen to be a clone of its counter part (so people can’t find it that easily) the only down side to giving illusionist conduit is that people won’t do anything there.

K, I’ll change it. I’ll limit the uses to 2 though.

Converted unseen should be different though.

It should BUT, unseen shouldn’t be easy to find, also literally 99.9% a mystic gets screwed by being converted (I still bet it would), I don’t see what’s bad about it, even if it’s suppose to be different you shouldn’t be able to know right away it was converted.
