Hey guys, It was mentioned that the devs like the random naming aspect of the game as it leans towards easier immersion. That being said, some of the community would like a larger name pool, and honestly I like pop culture references in my games. So lets make it easy on the devs and post all our name suggestions in one mega thread. I’ll go first.

I think being able to choose your name is a must for this type of game…

Maybe this is for when you are too lazy to type your name in. You know, like John Hathorne or something similar like that.

That’s really not catering to the average player though. Being able to do funny little dumb stuff is a must for a game to get popular. Gotta think about the bigger picture.

Honestly people won’t even care about it when wanting to buy Tol, they will look at the content and how the game is at first, pretty sure no one is gonna say “well, cants change my name. Not buying”. However I do see your point and I’m kinda iffy on the name changing thing because I like all players to remain anonymous.

Yea and people screwing somebody over in a different game and having the same name as last game causes them to be targeted
