Nerf the ability above you to oblivion

Basically, you suggest an Overpowered nerf to a class ability.

Rules:

1: Quote whatever ability you’re nerfing.
2: Always add a different ability at the end of your nerf. It can be a part of the chain if previous nerfs, if as long as you give it some time (Don’t just have 2 class ability nerfs in a chain)
3: Class Passives aren’t allowed.
4 (Optional): Nerf the most recent class ability, if you can/want to.

Starting class ability:

King’s Guards

You now have to pay them 1000gp each time you use it.

King must pay $10 whenever they want to use Guards or else the guards will mutiny and attack the king instead.
This ability must be used every night or the king will suicide.

Has a curfew. Only tells you if the Unseen visited your target during the day.

The guards instantly die and fail to accomplish anything
