New natural action: defend from convert

I think that some nights, u just don’t want to be converted.
It’s make sense that you can just defend yourself, losing your action for the night.

It can also improve bad guys claims:
I just defended myself today so no logs.

It’s anoying as hell that you put all your effort for Blue Dragon and then, you are the first target for convertion

Wizard doen’t help, because he is not garanteed, and he is mostly dead or converted very fast…

Conversion is kinda the whole point of this game. I would be a very saltly MM if this was added and I couldn’t convert anybody,

Building on this, it doesn’t matter if it’s annoying or not. It is a core aspect of the game that almost everyone can be converted. (except Prince) If your doing good as BD it makes sense for you to be converted as you can help scum. Wizard is more powerful than ever, and it makes sense he is converted because he can help scum with his shock and fire wall…

In all honesty this is a shit idea

Not a bad idea for a new BD class with that as an ability, but would nerf evil factions too much if it were to be implemented for all classes. Nice idea though.

If you can’t convert, then noone got any info, so what the point?

I am very salty when i get converted, Every single game if i’m a paladin priest or sheriff

And it’s not like the unseen or cult are losing most game or anything.

If you don’t want to add this natural, at least make it for some classes like sherifs, paladin and observer.

And with this option, those classes would lose their investigation for not being converted and that’s verry costy.

-_- THE WHOLE POINT OF THE GAME IS CONVERSION. What do you not get??

I Do get it,
And it just make this part of the game more complicated, as long as unseen and cult got above 40% win rate it’s ok

Win rates =/= fact

The Unseen, and Cult, do not need a nerf. Plain and simple.

Well, that is your opinion
Agree to disagree

You didn’t even read what I was trying to say. The Unseen and Cult do not need a nerf for the following reasons.

  • The classes they have are hugely balanced and there is no need for changing them right now

  • If they can’t convert people, or there is a defend against converting, whats the point of it?

  • Just because there is a good win rate for Unseen/Cult doesn’t mean they need a nerf.

  • There should only be a couple cases where converting shouldn’t be defending against

  1. Prince, as you would be a screwed if you didn’t jail anybody
  2. Magical Barrier as converting is a negative thing

It’s really dumb to have everyone be able to defend from converts. It’s part of the damn game.

How do you decide that the game is balanced if not by win rate?
You’re saying that all the players are stupid and that why they are winning?

,Maybe every class is too much but as I said, give the option for investigative classes.
they won’t even use it that much because it will prevent them from investigating

BTW MM can check those classes and decide not to convert them because the option of defending.

It’s makes the game more complicated and interesting, and as I’ve said, it also help cult and unseen to lie about nights without info

Although I don’t 100% agree, the idea certainly has merit. Limiting it to just Sheriff and Paladin seems like a decent idea - they could both have a day ability of 2 or 3 uses making them immune to conversion the following night. Originally they were not convertable at all, and the evils still had decent win rates then.

Invest classes such as sheriff and pally , were convert immune once. It was annoying for Unseen/Cult because the Assassin had to kill them and the MM wasted a night. Now that sheriff/pally can be converted it’s better. THE UNSEEN/CULT DO NOT NEED A NERF

honestly win rate in games I play are like 75% unseen . getting salty about being lit on easy street is lmao funny .
If you get converted as a sheriff just keep leading the blue dragon along to there Doom

everyone defends except the prince who gets everyone’s classes and kills suspicious people

evil faction stands no chance whatsoever

Lol jammy defend is not againt killing…

Unseen and Cult winrates are really high right now from what I’ve seen, but it also seems like the community is growing quickly and as a result there are a lot of new players. The less experienced everyone in the game is the easier it is for the unseen and cult to win. It’ll be interesting to see how things are a month down the line.

So they should make high level players play with high level players, and then check the stats

BTW, do you know where can we find the statistics?

I am aware

Before the player base became all newby (not their fault it is fairly new) BD won most games. As soon as most players learn the game, BD win rate will sky rocket.
