That’s an interesting point, but put Snoop on a cooldown and the problem goes away. People won’t want to wait 2 days for the second Snoop to confirm the first.

Ah but that just encourages using the first snoop early to confirm you have one and then use the second one for the real accusation. Plus the accusation from snoop often comes way after the ability is used when the person tries to switch their claim.

That’s the problem with snoop, the solution is to pick a class at the start of the game and stick with it, this unfortunately does not lead to interesting gameplay like you might expect. We know because we tried it.

That strat will hardly ever work. The guy you Snoop n1 will have his n1 logs public by the time you use your second snoop, either by his death or by his posting them on trial. So it won’t be a problem.

They are. It makes the scum less adaptable even when noble isn’t actually in the game. Kinda like how invest caused scum to stick to specific claims where other claims would be more useful.

Not THAT early. More like N2 or N3 when they actually have things in them. And Observer is another example of that kind of accusation, same with Drunk. Also Hunter for that matter.

If Snoop has a 1-day cooldown and you Snoop n2 it will be d4 before you can publish the results of your second snoop, and by then your first Snoop target’s n2 logs will likely be already public. So 2 uses of Snoop is still not a problem if they have a cooldown.

Yes I forgot I literally just said Snoop should be moved to another class besides Noble. The problem is Snoop being on Noble, not Snoop itself.

Same way princess does. Scum avoid changing claims to avoid getting accused. However unlike the Princess a Snoop result is way harder to fake. I am pretty sure you are underestimating how fast people out logs because unless someone dies they can often go the whole game without claiming. Let alone posting logs.

And no. You can’t just assume that every prior target to the one being accused would have already posted logs. That’s usually not true.
