My reads are close to my heart and putting a final say on them this early would be counterproductive for day 1.
Solic is by far the most active & aggressive, which makes him trustworthy. At the same time, he is a veteran so he likely knows exactly what he needs to do to win our trust.
Just saying, you could just act similiar and be like look im in my town meta, some people townread self meta-ing imo i dont.

I said that partially as a meme, but seriously, my first game I was in turned out disastrous when we open claimed D2. The Prince was outed and the EK did a GT D3, winning the game for evils D4. I do NOT want that happening again.

I can confirm, Solic and I aren’t a scum team. But I do think it’s dangerous to put Solic in towncore that fast. If protectives end up on an evil it’s really bad for town because that’s less protectives for them, obviously.
Yes! Contribution is great. I would love to hear from everyone. Speaking of which, how come we are only going after Italy when other newbies (like Sog man) haven’t been asked to make reads either? I guess we will get to them?
Information is power. Especially on D1, D1 is really the advantage for town to get an edge on evils.
TBH my perspective kind of has changed about this. I am thinking Italy might be having trouble scum reading or even trying to scum read because he could be scum himself.
I just know that people can act super scummy and actually be town because they’re new and don’t have a lot of experience or get scared to try.

Thanks for the ISO, I appreciate it. Doing ISOs is really good for newbies, it helps get a good indicator of what people are saying on an individual level and helps determine if they are actually adding anything to the conversation or not. I do read you as slightly town because of your effort at deduction.
This is really a bad look and would just confirmation bias them into it, because if you’re looking for an alignment, you’ll find it, so it’d be an exercise in futility without a scum game next to it.

I’m not asking you to place accurate reads, but something that shows you’ve been analyzing this information, at the very least. Who are your townleans, if slight? I’m not asking for an “Arete”-style justification. Asking questions but not connecting them doesn’t come out as super game-solving for me.
It’s understandable for tele not to take that seriously, napoleon. If you were a BD killer you’d likely be penalized, and if you were actually a killer, you’d probably be stopped in your tracks or caught.
I actually am afraid of having to follow that meta.

tele: Personally, Solic seems to be trying to lead the court FMPoV. He is being skeptical of everyone’s comments and asking them for their thoughts. This reads as town to me, but at the same time he is an experienced player and could just as easily be open wolfing as scum.
tan: I’m fine with rescinding my scumread on Italy, but I want to see him contribute more. As it stands, he seems like he desperately wants to be left alone, which coupled with the aforementioned break of character strikes me as odd.
