Players get smited in ToL midgame too, for breaking the rules. If you don’t want your team to lose because of you, just don’t break the rules.

I recommend never directly mentioning it unless the player in question is a very difficult player to lynch.

then you run the risk of the modkilled’s teammates being demoralized and not putting in effort. Modkilling should only be reservered for very severe rulebreaks such as OOG Comms about said game and breeching game integrity. And if that last one happens a reroll is usually in order
