You know what, I absolutely forgot about that, I was fixated on detailing the Meeting and Announcement stuff. I’ll add those now!

Gotcha <3

I assume you meant the others don’t know who their comrades are? If you meant the player himself does not know, it’d be easy to find out based on abilities (and i frankly don’t see the sense in it either).

I generally am a fan of your ideas here – the public message skills each class holds would make for interesting strategies, and the “Head of the Meet” sounds like a good mechanic aswell.

Especially to my liking are you ideas regarding “The Heir” – being able to choose your faction sounds nice, but not too easy since you can’t just go for neutral and try to win with both, you must pledge alliance, so to say.

Yes, the player themselves will know they are Noble or Heir etc. But won’t know which the others are, they just see “Royal” on the player list
I appreciate your feedback and I’m flattered you have taken a liking to this.

I had this in mind for Nobles for a while, I just didn’t think of posting cause Boslof wanted to rid of Noble at the time. Glad I can help toward the rework

Might wanna edit your post to reflect that, it makes it sound like the player does not either :+1:

I gotchu

I don’t really understand what the public ___ actually does. Does everyone (except some kings) see “The noble has made an announcement” or whatever at the beginning of the day? Or does that noble have some monologue they can type themselves? Or just something else?

I’ll throw a detailed thing at the bottom of the post for ya

Gotchu

The day announcements will just end in more king lynches

But would you always trust the announcements?

I don’t support the nobles being able to detective the kings allegiance in messages.

I would see it as more a tactic to get people to kill the King.

Unseen/Cult could write “If the King can say: OogyBoogy then he’s Good King”

Etc.

But I don’t think that’s a good idea. Just my opinion

I just thought a bit more about it, and I feel like we’d need a second party that would be (un)able to see the messages – if it’s solely King, your example scenario would make it too easy to kill King.

I did toy with the idea that only non-Royal Blood would see it.

“Public” message so to speak.

And along that, I wanted to add a “Royal Decree” kinda style message for just Royal Blood. Yknow?

Yeah I getcha – so like different variations for different class-types.

I wanted to make sure each one could be used against the King. Noble’s main true purpose is to serve as the next King, at least in my mind.

It saves the Princess or Prince stepping up.

With the different public messages, the Aristo can use it to their advantage to force the King to appear as Evil. Same with the Heir.

The Heir also doesn’t get a free ride, he either has to out live all Nobles/Aristocrats or become King and win with a faction of his choice.
