Offensive Reworks

Offensive Reworks:

Servant (Unseen Offensive)

Passive: Dutiful

Day Ability: Hallucinogenic Wine: The target will think they were poisoned. They will receive a notification if they were healed, as will healer. 1 use.

Night Ability: Serve Wine

Night Ability: Party

Steward (Blue Dragon Offensive)

Passive: Persistent - Occupy and Redirect immune.

Day Ability: Confound - Disable the targets day Ability’s for the rest of the day. They are not notified until they try to use a day Ability. It still consumes a use of the ability they were trying to use. 3 uses.

Night Ability: Lead - Redirect your first target to your second. You cannot make your target visit you or themselves. Unlimited uses.

Retainer (Unseen Offensive)

Passive: Persistent - Occupy and Redirect immune.

Day Ability: Confound - Disable the targets day Ability’s for the rest of the day. They are not notified until they try to use a day Ability. It still consumes a use of the ability they were trying to use. 3 uses.

Night Ability: Lead - Redirect your first target to your second. You cannot make your target visit you or themselves. Unlimited uses.

Invoker (Cult Offensive)

Passive: Fanatic - Occupy and Redirect immune

Day ability 1: Bewilder: The next day ability target player uses will fail. 1 use.

Day ability 2: Empower: Your night ability’s will bypass occupy immunity tonight. 1 use.

Night ability 1: Chains of Corax: Occupy target player. 3 uses.

Night ability 2: Strings of Mithras: Redirect target player. You are immune to attacks you redirect. 2 uses.

For Servant - this is interesting. It’s a way to distract the Healers. I like the misdirection.

A more reliable and useful version of Tornado.

Steward - I’m leery of adding so many immunities to so many classes…

I know, but it is the only new immune class in the entire rework, so I think it works.

I also have my eye on removing Isolation for the Hunter as well.

Actually also Duelist, but still.

I think it makes sense on Hunter but could be removed from Duelist.

I just realized? Are Steward and Retainer replacing Drunk and Alcoholic?

Uh, no? The classes serve different functions. Lead doesn’t make you immune, and you also can’t make them visit you.

If it is removed what happens if he is targeted by a drunk?

Also duelist has Immunity for the same reason as hunter in addition to his own problems.

Aka: Lancer stagger

I don’t get why Hunter needs immunity.

If he bears, then nothing happens because Bear doesn’t target anyone.

If he wolfs, it’s no worse than a Drunk causing a Knight to CS him.

Hunter needs immunity because of the poacher.

That doesn’t seem like a huge problem.

Besides the fact we should remove this notifications, if the Unseen or Cult get promoted they lose it.

Personally. I consider this a problem too. OCC Immunity should be like RB in this way.

Actually, it might be worth it to tweak Poacher a bit. If we make it an Acolyte like class, it can do fake bleed, like with an ability like Rampage.

I don’t really have a full idea, so I’m just brainstorming.

It would also be an excuse to remove Isolation.

I still think we could solve this by removing notifications.

InB4 we put judgement on an Unseen

And removing the notifications has balence problems ect

I think Drunk is fine without it. He does already do kill investigations.

Butler has a self defense mechanism and can off the King.

If we need to, I’d be fine adding a bit of a buff.

I think it would still just cause more problems than it solves but this isn’t even the purpose of any of this.

But we should remember that removing notifications means we’re making it less friendly for newbies, so while this isn’t too much of a problem for us, it would really mess things up for first timers and such.

It’s definitely something to consider.

I do think the game would be better for it though.

Or maybe this would be a good time to give that Casual Mode that was discussed like a month ago into action, the one with what was it? One of each class type and stuff?
