Get rid of night immunity but let it target someone who then can’t kill it?
Or does that nerf the outed “I’ll kill it” guy strat too hard
I was thinking “choose an allignment. you will be healed if that allignment tries to kill you tonight”, which is probably terrible but idk
Definitely something interactive
Again, we could create a PTR to see if the works, and easily patch it out of the game if it dosen’t. That’s one of the great advantages of video games as opposed to forum games- if we want to make a change, we have to be damn sure it dosen’t give somebody a bad week.
@folfoolinthefirstplace
Yeah implementing an efol is not much effort and doesn’t do much damage if it fails
But sadly FoL is way too far away to be able to say anything about if a class is good for tol or not
No, i mean we create a ToL PTR. We actually created guide+ only PTRs back in the day to make sure things wouldn’t break, then released those to the public to test proposed changes before they were oficially implemented.
Hosting takes a ton of work
Playing takes a ton of time
Changes can’t just be thrown about willy-nilly
Implementing a ToL PTR costs dev time and therefore money
Hosting a fol game is for free
Which is why we test quite a few proposed changes at once for cost efficiency- this is just one of them.
oh fuck you
but yea my thoughts on this are well known and my position hasn’t changed much since i made that thread.
It’s still easy to win as fool and acts as a crutch to shitty players. It punishes you for technically lynching correctly as bd and is a massive swing when it gets executed.
That’s still a point which is completely wrong… Fool is non-scum. So effectively a mislynch.
It don’t mean shit to what you think. That new play is just a fool, Priesty girl.
Meow?
Priestess, from what I’ve heard from people, the problem with fool generalizes to this:
A: Fool has the possibility to win
B: The BD has the possibility to lose
C: Both A and B are independant from eachother
D: If someone does not have to win with you, they are scum.
E: Because of C and D, Fool is scum.
F: Fool has a punishment for being scumread
G: Because of E and F, Fool is a scum who punishes for being scumread.
H: The BD’s main tool is scumreading
I: Because of G and H, Fool punishes The BD for using it’s main tool.
I’ll let you make your conclusions.
Fool = Neut
BD = gets punished if exe this neut
Fool = can’t damage BD in any way
BD = can win regardless of Fools survival or not
therefore Fool = not scum
Scum is anyone who does not have to win with you. This applies directly to Unseen or cult, yes, but it also applies to Scorned (Mostly always Anti BD), Alchemist (Doesn’t have to nessecarily heal your pwecious pwince evewy night uwu), Pretender (Seriously, this shit is wack), and every other neutral.
make executing neutrals bannable
I said nothing
