Orangevitational - Aliens Win!

Yeah probably better utility too

No idea, you would have to ask orange. With that being said, it makes infinitely more sense to use a dead cop check compared to a gunsmith check

I don’t deal with dead bodies

I deal with frozen bodies

if student didn’t post for the entirety of today then you could make funny posts about how you froze them and that’s why they couldn’t talk.

I didn’t even think about that, fuck

You’re not wrong, but if it turned out Security did still have the shot then that would mean we don’t necessarily need to kill Coroner. However killing Coroner means we’d have to flip Security afterwards to get their alignment.

Looking more deeply into stuff takes time and most of us were away from the thread during the evening.

idk? You’re the closest thing I have to a scumread this game and I’ve been trying to get you to talk and engage more. Do you not generally engage with your wolfreads?

this really is suboptimal play by me on my part

What is there to engage about, I’ve explained why I scumread you

student enters the thread after i case them, writes like 15 posts and i immediately think i was just wrong instead of insisting.
if this is a wolf then i’m throwing in the towel.

But the shot doesn’t tell us much about security alignment besides the fact that they used it. We are doing guess work to determine their alignment at this point. It makes much more sense to back up a more useful role, as it uses doesn’t just extend to finding security alignment, it extends to finding everyone’s alignment when they flip

/Vote Coroner

Inb4 this just ends the game and we all feel dumb

if it actually ends the game then i’ll actually be disappointed, because it’d mean the wolves got themselves hard poe’d and killed by the end of day 2.

at this point I feel like we aren’t even using reads anymore, feels like we are just using mechanics to try to solve this game

wouldn’t be much different from the first game of this setup

the thing is, my reads from yesterday have mostly held up, and i see no reason to shake it up. i think the people i considered towny yesterday are still being towny today.

When I scumread someone, I actively try to engage and talk with that person to make sure I can find more evidence to clear/condemn them. It also prevents me from engaging in confirmation bias. It’s weird to me that you don’t, which is why I’m asking if it’s a playstyle thing.

yeah

but for some reason I still feel sort of bad for playing this way because I like being right on scumreads

not executing just within a POE

the feelings are different when you win by being completely correct on scumreading someone vs winning by executing people not townie

I never find that disappointing, sign of good village d1 play. Get boxed out lolz

fair.

i’m currently looking at the teleporter/officer interaction and i’m like. man.
