You are a member of the Town.
At day, you can vote and talk.
At night, you can draw (or at least the host hopes so).
You win when all Mafia members are dead.

Day has begun and will end 2021-07-28T18:00:00Z

First!

thats a pretty wowee slot to kill
i mean, realistically it was a doctor dodge but

I’ll park this here for now.

I’ll explain why in a second.

same but with less time

overnight notes dump

i feel like this is like
not w/w
Kanave probably doesn’t read her classcard and just… ask awkwardly for a wolfbuddy to out their teammates?
feels very w/v

I dont think Anthem is necessarily spewed (Kanave’s treatment of the slot at EoD is pretty wolfy but that tells us nothing)
theyve still been villagery tho

night min appel
zone intensify
eli anthem rumple
emilia cloned
pigeon windward wazza eevee aelin

nothing damning here but also it isnt good
their progressions both just remain stagnant at “would not vote”
no re-evaluation to be found

These were on the Emilia wagon with Kanave though, so I’m mildly suspicious of them

Summary

Appel (Townread)
Similar to Night, gets a lot of credibility for their push on Kanave. However, if you read the rest of their ISO, you’ll also see that they put a lot of thought in their reads and pushes, which I will give credibility for. Overall, great slot.

Night (Townread)
Gets lot of credibility for their push on Kanave, read their ISO if you want to know what I’m talking about. Their reads are fine and kinda reminds me of FAM, tho their playstyle and meta probably shouldn’t factor much into this read.

Min (Townread)
General posting is decent. Takes are fine, tone is decent and meta says T I believe, but not a huge fan of my meta reasoning here.

However, the biggest reason as to why I think they’re town is because of this notable interaction.

They sheep’d Night’s vote on Kanave, during near EoDish, when the wagons weren’t even well established.
I feel confident that a scum doesn’t do this, since this is voting another scummate, and the signs of a buss aren’t there.
Min doesn’t raise any real objections to this, they just sorta sheep it and go to sleep or whatever and the wagons weren’t well established, meaning that there was 0 pressure on Min to really vote Kanave when Kanave had like only 2 people voting her at the time.

All of this makes me think this slot is extremely likely to flip V.

Rumple (Townlean)
Rumple, similar to some other slots, gets credibility for how Kanave treats them specifically. Here is an instance of their interaction with Kanave:

Now from this interaction, Kanave is voting Rumple for very oppertunistic reasons. I doubt this was intentional planned anti-spew as

When I questioned it, she sorta insisted on it.

She does unvote later but.

This interaction doesn’t really seem W/W at all. Their take on Kanave was interesting, interesting enoigh that I’m willing to bump this slot a little higher.

Zone (Townlean)
Treatment of Kanave looks good for them plus

Wind (Leaning Town)
For a person who posted a lot, I don’t actually have much to say about this slot. Takes are okay and the wallposts are fine, but nothing about this slot speaks to me as extremely towny or scummy, but I will give some cred for their solving and the fact that they do stuff.

Eli (Leaning Town)
As explained yesterday, this slot has been natural in their posting. Nothing really feels out of place or forced.

The biggest example are these posts below, talking with the now flipped scum Kanave.

Other than that

These posts show signs of a lost townie, so weh.

Not the best read, but this is as much as I can determine so far about their alignment with their ISO.

Pigeon & Marl (Leaning Town)
While reading Pigeon, I’m also including Marl with him since Marl was the owner of this slot before Pigeon replaced in.

Pigeon… sadly doesn’t do much for this slot I will say.
His ISO is questionable as in that he votes people for really wierd reasons.

I don’t like this, but at the same time, I have to be fair and judge Pigeon based on his general playstyle, and my thoughts tell me this isn’t as scummy.

Other than that, this confusion and sense of lostness is probably V?

Marl does do much more however for this slot

His takes are okay at first, just classic Marl takes I guess. Nothing of note until maybe EoD if we want to reanalyze this slot.

Their treatment of Kanave implies non-W/W interactions if I have to be real.

After some thinking, I don’t believe this is how Warl treats another scummate. Like, you don’t ever say “Hey guys, this person seems sus, but I don’t know how much experience they have, so I want to make sure first”.

That type of interaction with a scummate doesn’t make much sense imo.

Marl is being very thoughtful of this read, when if they’re W/W, Marl could probably get away with a less thought out read.

Other than that, slot is doing fine. Pigeon I think will look naturally sus, so it might be harder to read them.

Anthem (Leaning Town)
ISO of me isn’t too impressive.
Kanave treatment of this slot implies V.

Aelin (Nulltown)
A slot that isn’t really doing much. They are producing content, but none of it has been really noticed or is too unique or creative to be noticed.

The reason why I’m thinking Nulltown so far though is really these posts.

These posts are iniative posts, so I’m giving them some credit.
But this slot is definitely one that’s subject to change a bit in my opinion as the game goes on, and I don’t really feel too confident on this one too much.

Emilia (Null)
A slot that is pretty much screwing around. Weh, sucks but whatever.

This is Emilia’s most notable takes.

GTH it sounds scummy since the reasoning is missing, but weh, no one asked for their reasoning so whatever.

Slot needs to do something.

brrr.

Eevee (Pure Null)
Self explanatory, hasn’t done much. Zero poster. Should not be the focus of a topic until they are replaced out or suddently awaken from their 10 year slumber of being AFK.

Wazza (Nullscum)
ISO is weh. Nothing of interest at all. EoD vote on Cloned is fine, but not really too towny or scummy.
The only thing I will note is a subtle defense of Kanave, warrnating a W lean, but this W lean isn’t the biggested one and I won’t hold Wazza for it.

Cloned (Scumlean)
Cloned is here not specifically because of their ISO (tho I will just say it feels baren but whatever, that’d warrant a nullread, not a scumlean) but because of how Kanave treats them.

Here are some light interaction with Kanave and Cloned from SoDish to midDay1ish

But the jiucy stuff is near EoD.

Specifically this vote

Paint Your Mafia… Mafia: Electric Boogaloo - Day 1 (16/16) - #756 by Kanave

Now, from the thought process this vote is interesting due to the wagons present at the time.
Paint Your Mafia… Mafia: Electric Boogaloo - Day 1 (16/16) - #761 by Kanave

Now, with this no vote + the votecount at the time, I reach 2 conclusions.

  1. Kanave saw the wagons and was not comfortable voting either of them, thus resorting to a no-exe wagon, where a lot of people were already approaching and moving to, letting her blend in.
    or
  2. She’s a master of deception and is making me think the first option on purpose as part of her elaborate ploy.

I’m leaning towards the first option right now, and with the wagons, we see 2 wagons she’s not comfortable voting for.

Clonedcheese and Anthem.

This leads me to think that Clonedcheese and Anthem are asscioated with her in some way, but I have reason to suspect Anthem and Kanave are not W/W.

HOWEVER, the Clonedcheese one is wierd. Her not deciding to vote Clonedcheese even though we agreed for him to be in the PoE at the time raises some red flags, which is why I am heavily suspecting Clonedcheese, paired that up with the fact that Cloned and Kanave have very neutral interactions at this point, interactions of which I don’t believe Kanave thought would give herself good reasons to townread Cloned, leading to my conclusion that Kanave did not vote Cloned and voted no-exe instead to dodge having to vote Cloned.

I’m adding further onto this with this comment by her:
Paint Your Mafia… Mafia: Electric Boogaloo - Day 1 (16/16) - #766 by Kanave

As she says she is “mixed on clonedcheese”, which doesn’t make sense regarding her interactions.

Adding further on, when asked about her read on Cloned by me, she responds
Paint Your Mafia… Mafia: Electric Boogaloo - Day 1 (16/16) - #828 by Kanave

Meaning that she doesn’t believe the wagons are worth voting for???

However, later on, it is shown that she is ok with self pres voting
Paint Your Mafia… Mafia: Electric Boogaloo - Day 1 (16/16) - #851 by Kanave

This is important because if we look back at this wagons, she was the top wagon with Emilia and Cloned following close behind, and yet she didn’t vote for self-pres there.

There’s a lot of questionable and subtle interactions with the way she treats Cloned.

Now the only thing really making me doubt this read at all rn is this specific post.
Paint Your Mafia… Mafia: Electric Boogaloo - Day 1 (16/16) - #825 by Kanave

But if someone wishes to talk to me more about this, go ahead. Cause I’m a little confused behind the intentions of this post after rereading some ISOs.

Notes

Discourse bugged out or some crap idk, I could quote for some reason even though Kat had locked the thread. However, I lost the ability to quote after I closed the thread so rip.

So if you notice that one half of the ISOs is using quotes, and the other half is using links… uhh sorrry I guess.

While looking for my reasoning, you’ll notice two things.

  1. A lot of my reasoning can seem fringe or not the most supported enough with evidence, and that is understandable. I do see that some of my reasoning for my reads seem hyperbol’d with one post moving someone several slots up or vice versea.

  2. A lot of my reads also are heavily dependant on how slots treat Kanave and how Kanave treats them back.

Now, these are usually bad things since they aren’t high levels of deduction, one thing doesn’t always mean this thing exactly, but the point is, in such a slow game, I’m trying to make every post count, since I only have so many resources for my reads. The fact that we managed to get a scum flip is good, and I want to siphon the most out of her interactions and spews in order to adapt my read list properly.

Also the reasonings were written out of order, so apologises if you’re reading this and going "why the hell is he telling to read X slot Y slot’s reasoning when Y slot is above X slot.

Night, Wind, Appel, Zone, Rumple and Athem ISO were all done in a hurry. So the reasoning might not seem as fleshed out.
