Carill’s evening routine is nothing much to speak of. All she does is organize the things in her bag a bit, then lay down on the bed and try to clear her head before resting, thinking about faraway lands.
“I would like to thank you again for this humble gesture, Innkeeper. It’s delightful being welcomed here.”
Kyrsaku starts to pack away the volatile glass containers strapped to his clothing into a backpack.
“A good night’s rest will be rare in our upcoming travels. We better savour this opportunity while we can, guys.” - Kyrsaku suggets
Goes to sleep
(I have school prep ftr)
Suuter, Qari, Carill, and Kyrsaku all go to sleep in the rooms that had been gifted to them at Roslar’s Coffer’s Local Inn.
Sometime during the night, while they are asleep, there’s a blinding light and excruciating pain all around them, as far as the eye can see. There’s no time to react or even think; everything just fades away and goes cold and dark.
The Prologue is over.
(i have to get the roll20 set up now; i’ll let you all know when im ready. feel free to speak OOC in the meantime if you want.)
Did I perform my reckoning again during sleepwalking…
(all players: please post your vision range for both regular and dim light when you see this. i need this info easily accessible for setting up the roll20.
if someone ever needs to be puppeted, i will give temporary control of their token to another btw.
also please state whether or not you have darkvision, of course, and if you are wielding any items to improve your vision.
// standard vision. nothing more
Normal Darkvision. I can also cast Light. Goggles of darkvision are with 12k gp a little bit too expensive for starting equipment
(Normal vision; but my lantern staff can be lit if that makes any difference for a light.)
// where the hell is my vision range
(it’s specified based on your race in most cases)
// Then I think mine is normal?
For explanation, most races see normal, have low-light vision or darkvision 60 feet.
With normal sight you can see fine in normal light, in dimlight you can still somewhat see but get penalties, and in darkness you are effectively blind.
For example, a torch or a light spell has 20 feet radius normal light, and until 40 feet it gives dimlight.
With low-light vision you can see double as far.
With darkvision you can see 60 feet around you as if it would be normal light, but this vision is colourless.
(okay, never mind, having your roll20 account is useless. it’s actually email-based, and that’s too much of a hassle, so im going to post the invite link.

You need to have been inside my campaign page at least once for me to be able to assign token ownership to you. Everything in the map for you will currently be black; that is intentional. I will reveal the proper areas for each player based on their vision once I am ready with token assignments and such and such using advanced fog of war and dynamic lighting.
Please like this post once you have joined and then entered my campaign window at least once.

@Vulgard
@Geyde
Also, for any interested spectators, feel free to join via the link above and then ping me within a PM (not in this thread); i’ll give you access to see the entire map.)
(awesome! im getting the hang of this fog of war / dynamic lighting stuff)
(as soon as vulgard enters the game so i can grant him ownership of a token, we should be good to proceed)
(if you have already entered the game, dont re-enter yet, please, as i am still working out stuff)
