// I should have access to a computer in a few hours, so I’ll join then.
(I am ready for things to begin, so they are starting. I’ll just give ownership of vulgard’s token to him whenever he gets online.)
(preliminary rules:
- Never move your token until I give the green light. Moving your token when you shouldn’t have the ability to move would give you sight that you should not have.
- please deny roll20’s request to access your microphone. This game will always be text only.
- Most of this game will take place across a series of fairly linear maps, like the one we’re starting with. Just a warning that there’s a lot of combat, a fair bit of puzzles, and less roleplay than usual for the story of the game, but you’re always free to speak with one another in-character.
- All rolls (besides my private roles for bestiaries and traps and such) will occur in this thread. The Roll20 is just for maps and movement.
may be more rules later)
(Feel free to open the roll20 app now. Everything is set up.)
All is darkness and cold stone. Although you dimly recall going to sleep last night in the small community of Roslar’s Coffer, you awaken in a dark, stone box only a few inches larger than you in each direction. The cool scent of earth surrounds you.
Each of you find yourself buried alive in your own stone casket. If you would like to try to escape, please attempt a strength check.
// Do I roll here, or on roll 20?
(here please. all rolls will be made publicly in this thread, unless you’re trying to deceive a fellow party member or something which would be in your PM, and private rolls I make from the GM side of things)
(also, i’ve just given you control of ur token; you’re just in time haha)

// What the actual fuck.
Carille lifts the heavy stone lid of her casket aside. She finds that she has her belongings beside her in the casket; however, there is no source of light in the room, so Carille is now in complete darkness, wherever she is.
(@Vulgard im not seeing your equipment in your character sheet; please post it there in the respective tab from wherever you wrote it before, whether it was in your PM or elsewhere)
(how do I do a strength check, is it just 1d{strength}?)
(a strength check is 1d20 + your strength modifier. via your character sheet, it appears that your strength modifier is positive 1)
(usually, checks and saves are always a 1d20 plus or minus something)
