Pathfinder Campaign -- Tyrant's Grasp

boring chart if you’re actually interested

I am optimizing build pretty hard for debuffer / scout role and will probably get destroyed when it comes to actually managing how familiar works

I would ask how to make familiar, but
actually
How do I do stat sheet for familiar
I wasn’t able to find rules pretty much anywhere for how to do it

This is like Divinity: Original Sin 2

…I’ve just realized that we’re literally on a quest to destroy the Lying Darkness, except it’s named differently.
I can’t stop laughing. I’ve already made this campaign a meme before it even started.

You realize that this is no familiar, right
A familiar is little and you should protect it
this would be an animal companion
:stuck_out_tongue:

We musn’t claim, Vulgard

I love Divinity

This campaign should be named ā€œSir Geyde and a band of misfits embark on a quest to undo their past mistakes. Especially Geyde’s.ā€

oh
It was technically in options from where I was looking

why do I trust google docs that lay everything out more conveniently than anywhere else

aonprd is your best friend if you want no 3pp

Great game. Baldur’s Gate III hype.

Do you guys think everyone should optimize, or is it fine not to?

this is the best way to do character design

It’s a foreign concept to me too, because in the systems I’ve played before, optimizing wasn’t really needed.

I definitely play no optimized chara, but i know that it’s pretty capable, and that it can carry if needed
… but I already have played it already a few thousand hours PFS, so that’s no wonder
like I said, first play and get some impressions of the game
I can still give you some mechanical advise later if needed, often just taking a different feat can do wonders

oh yes
it’s actually in familiar category
just from a different adventure path

I don’t think it’s illegal but maybe I’m wrong

Flying dino

oh wait
thats a tiny dino
yea that can work

I’m not sure exactly how to create stat sheet for one
research time

Sure! I’m pretty excited to play, not gonna lie.

Yes.

For clarity, the systems I’ve played (just so you know I’m not really bullshitting):

  • Warhammer Fantasy (1ed, 2ed, and 4ed. Played 2ed the longest because I think it’s the best. ~3 years total.)
  • Call of Cthulhu (for about 6 months. The missions tend to be short, so it doesn’t look like much, but I’m pretty much completely familiar with the current edition and the one before it.)
  • Dark Heresy (2ed. Never played the first edition. Only played one mission. Similar to WFRP in many ways.)

Thanks in advance for the help. I’ve always wanted to learn a more popular system, but never had anyone to play with / learn it with.
