say meh
because we have MULTIPLE timezones

Thereā€™s no other way to run this campaign with this group via text other than taking it pretty slowly due to the huge time zone discrepancies

Im fine doing things that way. Are you

Would this be for the entire campaign?

Itā€™s more that itā€™s a minor annoyance and that it kind of makes the vibe less ā€˜thereā€™
you know

complaining geyde basically
I can put up w/ it

well do you have any other better solution in mind

because with this 6p group, i see no other options atm besides players being left behind story-wise at times and the game going rly slow

If we dont want anyone to miss out on parts of the out of combat progression, i dont see any other possibility besides doing this the entire time.

Maybe I institute some time limit between 24 and 48 hours for each player to do something before they just get skipped. Idk. Like if someone is online here, they should be posting in this thread if possible to help things be able to move along.

it being AP makes things a bit difficult
I would usually recommend having combat during the ā€˜hot spotsā€™ when everyone can probably be online (aka ask players for consistent time they can be on and act accordingly), but it seems like that wouldnā€™t work?

slow combat is the death of things like this
so making sure that that section either happens sparingly or happens smoothly is of utmost importance

Ami works v often
Some people are on nearly antithetical time zones. Most others are at least halfway to antithetical to each other.

Like there might be hot spots, but im not sure if thatā€™s a possible thing given what iā€™ve already mentioned

this AP is very combat-dominated. Not much I can do on that front.

that just goes into conflict with the multiple timezones thing, right?
itā€™s going to be slow

is there the possibility for a minor scaling down of combat?
because itā€™s important to make sure that this thing ends up working without becoming a slog in the way that interest wanes

Im currently stumped on this front, unfortunately.

Iā€™d say ā€˜tryā€™
but Iā€™m not sure how that effectively plays out

Thereā€™s so much combat that perhaps this AP isnā€™t feasible in a place and format like this

Maybe I need to find another AP that is a good deal more social-oriented.

Iā€™m assuming all PCs can go any direction (arenā€™t tied to setting in question) here?
because if so, we probably could switch

Not really, a good part of the time.
APā€™s by their nature are highly linear.

I guess some people could puppet othersā€™ characters who are offline at the time?

Iā€™m talking about the plausibility of us being able to switch APs without excess effort
