Hi
Hi
Hi
Hi
aarrrgghh
sorry for my atrocious tendency to break pledges
depression is merciless
i still hope to host this, but currently my WiM is pretty low (i just received a document from my sister revealing that she knows some aspects of my past far better than i do and some of them are far worse than i could have ever imagined).
running pathfinder def doesnāt consume as much wim as playing or hosting fm
but it still takes some for sure
Im not making any more promises to start this game until i know i have the wim to do so in the tank
Itās back in limbo for the time being.
My WiM is back up to a point where Iām comfortable starting this game now
Magnus is being removed for now since heās MIA
If heās ever back here and is still interested in playing, I can work him into the game at any time
I will start the game once I receive confirmation from all players of still being available and interested in the game
yes
pls
notes:
- In combat, each player will have a maximum of 8 hours to act when the initiative arrow points at you before you should be puppeted by another player as soon as possible, even if I am offline. Even if i am offline, you do not have to wait for me to be on before the next player can act of multiple players act in a row with no enemy creatures acting between them.
- Out of combat, everyone will have a maximum of 36 hours to do something before I progress the story / roleplay / puzzle. If it would make sense for someone to be puppeted that hadnāt done anything yet after that timer expires, then ok.
- Everyone needs to distinctly format the type of text that is 100% in-character (in-character speech), partially in-character (characterās actions / reactions / descriptions etc. that are not speech), and 100% out-of-character (questions for the gamemaster). Please let me know how you will distinguish the three of those formatting-wise. Only i can process enemy actions within the initiative however, so the game will pause if i am offline when the arrow points at an enemy creature until i am online again and do so.
- As a gamemaster, most of the time I focus more on handling the story and my side of combat / roleplay the most, so I wonāt be scrutinizing what you do as much as some other GMās would. If you have questions about what you can do tho, Iād be happy to help. However, still, please donāt cheat. ty
āThereās trouble ahead.ā Carill says, pointing at the road before the group. āI think this is going to end terribly, but I canāt be too pessimistic. Not openly, anyway.ā
āYou better keep your guard up. Canāt protect every single one of you. Which isnāt my job in this group, anyway. We all have specific roles here.ā She declaims, her eyes still transfixed on what lies before them. āLetās go.ā The woman confidently takes the first step forward. Her certainty and readiness to walk into danger might be inspiring.
Thatās how I do it in DRRP.
how will you format questions for GM separately from those two
you could also just ask those in your character PM, if youād like
I avoid using any distinctions in how I write in order to avoid having to use asterisks as they are fairly annoying
If Iām saying something, itās always going to be in quotes
If Iām thinking something, itās going to be written normally
Expressions are same as thinking, just with more emphasis on the action in question
Actions are going to be on a separate line, as Iāve found this to be the most effective form of getting stuff across
I may or may not completely change up how Iām writing stuff for the purpose of being in character
Iāll tell you if Iām changing shit up
Carill uses her Intimidate skill to make these people bend the knee. Literally.
// Hey N, whatās the modifier for that?
Like this.
i have confirmation from all players
Prologue will start today or tomorrow (bit tired today is why)
when it does, i will do a pentaping again.
