your basically a 1up counter for someone else .
Well also you get to talk to the dead. Which is a huge responsibility when an investigator get a hit the same night he dies and can’t log it. Also good way to confirm reaper. But I know what you mean. Basically now you go into the game knowing the prince has two lives if priest doesn’t die first. You’ve got 1 night ability and there is only one “acceptable” time and reason to use it. Might as well just make it an automatic thing. I get it, but until then you get to investigate by talking to the dead!
I agree with OP, i hate the change they made.
I would bring back his old revive, but remove his conversion immunity.
I like the change, it’s a strategic choice to res the Prince or not.
What’s more valuable? Talking to the dead or ressing somebody?
I can’t see many scenarios where it is better to talk to the dead over having a Prince.

I agree with this. If anything, i feel like resurected Pally/Sheriff are often more usefull than prince. Prince is usefull for fool execution, role block, additionnal lynch.
Problem is most of the people in my games are kinda morons so even as priest the most beneficial thing I can do is stay alive tbh. Im not giving my life to revive some Prince so he can exe the Sheriff and then die as he is outted anyway.
Priest is quite boring now. I wanted a change and even though this is more balanced it is far less fun to play as.
I think priest was fine the way it was. Atleast it should be random, not in every game. Also when possessor jumps to other body, that player should be muted for 1 or 2 nights. Its otherwise too easy for priest to tell who changed bodies now when priest is in every game.
I like the new change they made to priest. i think its perfect now.
