I never saw a related ability between smite and test faith. Test faith you want to target a cult. Smite you want to target a non cultist which will be likely converted

Except for window peek being totally unrelated to follow. It should just be changed so it determines what classes visit your target.

Thatā€™s the main problem with sheriff and paladin though. Evil factions shouldnā€™t have a soft counter.

One finds cultists, the other protects against the cult.

I never seen a paladin lift a finger against a person get killed by cult but as soon as the pally sees him trying to trick the person wham

I gave it mostly a side upgrade to enable Prince being Special instead of Killer(which would make announcing Special more risky but with the amount of protectionā€¦)

the reason for the change is that Killer would have one less reason for Princess not claiming Killer/Offensive.
And Killer has Assassin, NKā€¦

No not useless.
You have Wisp.
You can still catch some fakeclaims.
Do you support making Flirt 2-options but (K/Su)/(So/O)/(Sp/I) instead?

It protects against the cult leader.

Itā€™s only 2 uses. It could even be reduced to 1 use.

Another reason to make prince special. And finding CL isnā€™t that big of an issue for cult.

Invoker and converted unseen classes.

Knight and hunter. Killing them will make it impossible for the BD to kill.

Hereā€™s the problem: youā€™re too focused in on ā€œWhat if princess checks me?ā€ Youā€™re not actually realizing the myriad of other problems with the alch claim. What if butler tries to occupy you? Drunk debauch you? Observer follow you? Youā€™re nerfing one of the few good utilities of the princess, just so nks can have marginally better claim space. While princess isnā€™t useless, sheā€™s significantly worse, and is very lack luster as a class.

Princess does not need to be changed.

TBH my biggest problem with it is that it is a day ability. So it can stop any play by nature of being too powerful. Make it a modifier on the main ability and we are good.
