Accidentally deleted it
This is why I go out of my way to use objective statements whenever possible
It’s balanced just not a good kind or fun
hypothetically anyway it could be better who knows?
All other things being equal balance is better than not balance.
Things get complicated with not all things are equal.
You know what would be interesting. If we put a public tol poll right now I guarantee you they would love for a neutral killer to have 33% win rate. However I think if they had a month of that and they were given the same poll they would vote they hate it.
I don’t think so. I’m betting most people would have the same emotional gut reaction as you, soul and even me a year ago
btw an NK win is only a 13-12 player loss, not a 14 player loss. You forgot the 2-3 neuts
Are you sure? I don’t know, most people who play tol are unexperienced in balancing setups and will think “Yes I won’t automatically lose as neutral Killer anymore”
Also there is the fact that all losses are due to the mechanics of the game no matter what the odds are. So having it be a 33% chance of losing because of mechanics makes me wonder where the other 33% of losses come from.
Btw the 1% is the Alchemist killing everyone
The problem with balancing win rates like 33/33/33 is that it’s meant to balance for the average tol player base.
so what happens when you have a great player as a neutral killer. They always win
no. 33/33/33% is balance no matter what the player base is.
Nuke imagine a chart about skill level
Nuclear your subjectively wrong balance isn’t always just about equal win rates.
He’s subjectively wrong while objectively right
If you are increasing the skill level of the NK then you also need to increase the skill level of the other players for the comparison to be meaningful
we can beat him with raw emotions and crazy metaphors
