Most people seem fine with the new and current change.
This game is almost brand new and many of the players have never played a social deduction game before. Blue Dragon requires a lot more experience and teamwork, so these numbers are completely fine with the assumption that everyone is new and unfamiliar with game mechanics (which describes 90% of the population.)
Weāre balancing the game because new players havenāt learned the game in a day lol
Iāll wait and see how the Priest changes go. I have a feeling it will be too overbearing on the evil teams to have a class you cannot eliminate except through mislynching or attacking twice.
Iāll be claiming Priest Day 1 and be only fearful of nothing except Nightshade, an empowered Reaper attack, or if the Unseen have an Enforcer. Even if Unseen nightshade a Priest, they are going to die when they revive somebody anyway. So Nightshade would be a waste unless there are no BD in the graveyard.
IDK. Feels like claiming Priest Day 1 is almost always the way to go to save investigators a night, and that Knights should guard the Priest to kill the Reaper when he attacks.
I agree with that premise, and agree things quite possibly would be excessively BD favored if experienced players were the majority rather than the minority.
On the other hand, as long as the devās stay active and adjust the balance as things go. That is not a huge problem. If the devās adjust the game for the current climate, then decide to relax and wait 6 months between balance tweaks, then we have a problem.
For my two cents, I feel like the changes made priest and BD a bit too strong. The games also feel less dynamic.
I liked when multiple NKās could spawn, figuring out what you were up against added to the fun.
Playing as an evil faction now often seems like such an uphill battle. Even if you snipe a sheriff or prince early, they just come back and now everyone knows theyāre back and they get guarded every turn.
Itās possible that these changes are great for people who are just starting out, but I feel like they hurt balance more than helped it if weāre talking about games with experienced people in them.
In 1.0.7b the priest was changed to simply lose the night immunity on revive and only dies if they were already attacked. I am currently satisfied with the priest as it is now. Comment if you agree/disagree
Well, given the Alch change itās even better than before to insta-claim Priest lol
admitted with the poison/bleed change, the alcās/physicians are going to be playing whack a mole with the assasains/clās
