Day Ability 2: Telepathy: Send an anonymous message to everyone. 2 uses.

Night Ability: Read Mind: See all whispers to and from your target the next day. Unlimited uses.

Notes: I have always felt Link Minds and Imprison are redundant abilities. This rework changes Psychic into a whisper based class, which makes it more unique, I think. Ideally the Noble would get Orange’s Rework. Link

It works, but that doesn’t mean it is the best it could be. Private Matter is a great ability, but Link just copies Prince. So I refocused it on Private Matter.

I know it sounds kind of cheesy, but maybe the first passive could be Multi-Tasker?

I have also felt some times that Link Minds and Imprison were repetitive. I wouldn’t mind seeing this, except for a few things.
1: There’s no need to nerf Telepathy that much. The way Telepathy is in this version is just garbage. It seems like it would rarely ever be useful. The only time I see it having any practical use would be you whispering the King with it what information you may have gathered from Private Matter and LInk Mind, but you could also just tell the King this info yourself. I mean, if you don’t want to risk an Evil King knowing who you are, then sure.
2: In this current version, there’s not much to do with it. I know Private Matters is a great day ability and all, but Link Minds does not seem like a fun ability. I do think that you should give this version of Psychic Call the Dead. It would give Psychic more playability and that passive just wouldn’t be gone.
3: I don’t think that you need a passive to say that you can turn Private Matters on and off. Just keep the passive to say that “You can use both Private Matter and Telepathy in the same day.” My suggested name is Gossip.

I would just make this the noble rework. Remove or replace private matters on Psychic and make Orange’s class something else entirely.

Psychic is fine, it doesn’t need a rework. The ability to hear the dead is actually powerful. And the only change telepathy needs is changing it so you will be anonymous for the rest of the day instead of for only the next message. I do like the changes you made to the day abilities though(other than the telepathy rework), it would make psychic a better alternative to prince.

If it’s anonymous for the rest of the day then you need to be able to cancel it. Otherwise anyone who speaks after a telepathic message is confirmed not Psychic.

I will undo Telepahy Nerf. I removed Call of the Dead, since I put that in my priest idea. I like this better as Psychic rework, sine I think Noble should be vote manipulator.

The thing is that link minds has a different utility set than Prince. Prince always jails to interagate and get information. Psychic link however also has the very important utility of informing others of what to do that night due to the fact that Psychic never Occupys them while Prince always does.

Prince also heals them and prevents conversions.

I’m saying Prince powers are greater than down sides. Butler’s also occupy random people. It’s the same with Prince. The investigation prevention is annoying, but it stops abilities, gets claims, and heals and stops conversion. It is easily better than link minds. It is even a contest.

What does butler have to do with this? I’m saying that the linked minds Ability to direct others is a BIG upside over Jail as it let’s every other class in the game be better without claiming to an unknown. Prince trying this either requires outing or taking 2 nights to do it.

It isn’t as powerful as essentially Standing Guard on them. Infinite uses too. While Psychic does have that unique advantage that Prince doesn’t have, it is still a redundant class. Would you like to have 2 slightly different versions of Princess, or any class? Anyways, the bit of difference isn’t worth having 2 princelike classes. It also sucks to be linked and jailed. I think Psychic can be a more unique and interesting class if we put focus into some of its other powers, instead of stubbornly sticking to a power Prince already does. Psychic should have its own thing, Prince should have his.

Psychic’s thing is anonymous communication. Princes thing is Interrogation. They may have similar uses but they also have many distinct ones. Especially when you consider the synergy linked minds has with telepathy. I consider psychic my favorite class right now and Prince is much lower on the list for this reason.
